Standard tech features on the current HR-V include a seven-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, four audio speakers, three USB ports, and a seven-inch digital instrument cluster. Available features include a nine-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone compatibility, a wireless charging pad, an eight-speaker audio system, and satellite radio. These features will continue to be available for 2024.
On the performance front, the current HR-V comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 158 horsepower. The engine is paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is available. Honda should offer the 2024 HR-V with the same powertrain.
Honda isn’t expected to make any changes to the 2024 HR-V’s list of safety features. The SUV currently comes standard with automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, a driver attention monitor, and automatic high-beam assist. Available features include blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking sensors.
